Scooter Safety PSA
A rollicking ride about electric scooter safety!
As the popularity of electric scooters rose in U.S. cities, so did their potential for danger. The AECP (American College of Emergency Physicians) responded to a growing number of scooter related injuries by launching this funky and fun national PSA to inform riders of best practices.

Here is an early animation test featuring character animation created in Toon Boom Harmony, then composited in with the animated backgrounds in Adobe After Effects.

Here is the animatic that we used as a pretty one to one guide in constructing the final animation.
The unique mixed media design for the backgrounds was achieved by combining real photo elements taken from DC streets along with hand drawn illustration and manipulated stock art.
