Kart
Kingdom
It's time to say goodbye in these three farewell shorts!
After five years, and 14 million plus gamers, it was time for PBS KIDS Kart Kingdom to say goodbye. Check out these three farewell videos we were asked to create to thank all of the players who made the game so special.
This promo marked the first time kids were told the game would be coming to an end. We wanted to share the news in a way that was honest, yet still uplifting, by highlighting one last fun activity to complete in the kingdom. To celebrate, kids could print out passports featuring all their in-game achievements, creating a memorable keepsake to take with them.
This video is a countdown of the top ten moments was created to celebrate how much players helped shape the world of Kart Kingdom alongside the PBS KIDS digital team. The creativity, input, and participation of kids over the years made the community truly special for everyone who played.
The third and final video was designed as a love letter to the players, bringing together all the characters and places that made up the kingdom. We wanted kids to discover new and delightful details with every rewatch.

Animatic
Sometimes animatics are a mish-mosh of different elements. This one includes storyboard art, rough drawings, and design elements provided to us.
